I am a veterinary surgeon, so nothing related to AI, but my husband is working in AI for 10 years. So at the beginning, I was like, hey, love, tell me something to go to sleep, please. How was work?
And he was telling me about AI all the time, and I was falling asleep. But at the end, I ended up falling in love with AI, the same as with my husband.
So here I am talking about AI and I'm a veterinary surgeon that all that I studied about was curing and making surgery to animals.
So basically I started a company four years ago now and we started doing M&A for veterinary practices. Then some of these practices needed some management in order to be sold to very big investment groups. And when we were doing management, we saw that many of the processes that they had could be automized.
So that's how we started doing AI automations for them. And then, because of that, some other friends that were having other companies were saying, hey, you're helping these, we are pretty similar.
So we started with human clinics, we started with dental, and then we started with... one factory and then another factory and so on.
So now we have more or less half of our business in the veterinary world, which is where I feel comfortable, but other half in other type of businesses, which are a bit of everything.
basically what i wanted to discuss is that ai focus should be the making everything with ai having it all together because the thing is like if you have an ai agent specifically for customer services an ai agent for marketing an ai agent for this and a engine for writing posting, link getting another one for this and that, it gets all very very complicated. So I think AI should be about or helps when it's really all linked together and you can have like the same system to do everything and not go into different parts to use AI.
1Basically what we normally do is like we study the company, we help them join their processes with AI and with the automations and like that we have all together.
So the first thing is like, okay, you start with asking some things to the LLMs and you get an output. Okay, that's the first step.
Then you use the LLMs with something like Make or any automation that normally are no code or low code.
and then you have the LLM linked to something that you use for but then having all those things together is what we have tried to do so we have been using for a bit now a big CRM that links all these automations together and gives us the power of automation linked to the CRM so we have all the data and we can contact the customer from all around it
Well, this is quite important because it's actually my bit, it's not in the screen.
But it's very important that I now use a VPN to have an American user.
And like that, as you can probably know, you can use ChatGPT linked to your email, to your Google Drive and all that. Here in Europe it's forbidden, but if you do that, it's easy.
So like that, you can also have the AI for your company and for your customer's company, like a very... customize the presentation.
So what I like about this software basically is that as you can see here we can have like the AEI linked to the voice, we can have conversations in AEI WhatsApp without it being linked to the API so they can use it still with the business. WhatsApp and also you have a knowledge base for all of them.
So if you link ChatGPT and you put the links from here, so you get all the knowledge base for all your information about the company. So you understand what I mean.
So if somebody asks a question over the phone, it will get the same reply as over the bot in the website, over WhatsApp, whatever. So they all work under the same information, which is very, very important.
The next thing I really like about this software is that you can connect all your social networks here. You can also link Google AdWords and Facebook Ads, so paid ads as well.
But the most important thing for me is to create the non-paid things that are like Facebook, Instagram, everything. You can have them all together here and also reply to your customers here in an automatic way.
So the next thing I really like about this tool
is this which is like you can do automations for everything so you can do like I will show you like workflows so okay for example we send an email if the customer replies we do this if it doesn't open it we do that If they open it but they don't link on the link, they do this.
You can put also forms inside the emails, forms inside the website. Everything is linked together and you always have all the information about your customers in the same place.
So basically if you go to any of your contacts here, you would have the list of when they have been talked to, if they've sent you a WhatsApp or not, so here you can see that some connection has been done and then you can see all the data so if you want to check up on a customer or a customer of your customers how they are doing they are here and this platform is also very good because it's created like for people that like have an agency either an AI agency or marketing or whatever
so here you can have like all the sub accounts and there basically you have every of your customers have their own CRM so and this is unbranded you can brand it with your own basically with your own
brand okay so i wanted to explain you that because everything i will talk about is that is having all the information about your customers and all your processes together so you can work ai everywhere So why I wanted to put this even though we know all the benefits of AI automations is because of the first words of every point of them.
The first one is like when you talk about customer service, what you want is like real time, like on the spot and very customized. So, for example, if somebody clicks on your website because he's interested in a product, if he receives a phone call on the spot or a WhatsApp saying, hey, I've seen you looking at this product, then it's much more likely that he asks you a question about the product and stuff and you finish buying the product because sometimes you...
You look into a product, you do that, maybe you fill in a form and they contact you like three days later because the person that has to do it is like, oh, I have to call my list of customers. This is so boring. So procrastinating doing these phone calls. But if an AI does it, it's much, much easier and done on the spot 24-7 anytime.
So the next word I really liked was unlimited scalability. We all hear that AI serves for scalability, but being unlimited to me sounds like, wow, unlimited scalability, like there is no roof to grow if you have AI in your company because none of the processes will have a bottleneck. So that's very, very important.
And then massive efficiency, like massive, the word massive I think is incredible because it really gives this efficiency a big word of when you put automations in your company in the right place. you really get savings get work done much better get customers much more happy everything so everything works very very well so that's why i really like this part let's try this one so
I already talked to you about this, so full AI powered customer journey, I think is the key thing to help us sell more, which is why we are all here. We are all here to make money and you make money through revenue.
So if you automate all these processes in your CRM, that's how you get more customers and more money. So you generate customers. through Google Ads or through social networks nowadays.
If you automate those ads or even normal posts and you automate that with AI, then they get replies and they get into these sales funnels and then they are very much likely to finish purchasing because they are there and you keep pushing them to the next level and to the next level until they are done with the sale.
So basically what we do is like we implement this chatbot in the website. We put the WhatsApp also for them to be able to use it because it's not very useful when you put it on the AI, but then they cannot use the phone anymore.
They want to have control. So we managed to do that.
Also, in the veterinary world, for example, it's very, very difficult that they pick up the phone. Like half of the times you call to a veterinary practice, even though they had an ad or something, it cost them one euro the call, and they don't pick up the phone.
Come on, guys. But yes, it's true. Sometimes they are very busy and they don't have time to pick up the phone and they don't return the calls.
So with this AI, normally what we do is we take the appointments and we send them to them by email and the customer is happy. He doesn't call the next vet around the corner and our customers are happy.
So basically that's what we do also with automated work as I mentioned we work a lot with forms that we embed in the web pages and in the emails and that's very very important to get these automations after filling in the form you have the data and you send them the email and you get them into the funnel And then you can have these fully big reports from which you know how good the funnel is working and optimize it as well, which is also something great about AI is that it gives you these full reports.
Also in the CRM there is a big part about these reports. So basically you give them great support until you get the sale and also post-sale because some people care a lot about until they get the customer but then the customer is not happy afterwards because the treatment is not very good. So it's good to have these post-sales services as well linked to the AI so they can have a great service.
Okay, so basically why I think it's important is I don't like having this make automations or things like that that are only like, okay, you have the phone call automation, you have the WhatsApp automation, we do a lot of like medical reports automation, but then it's not everything linked together. You have to have a system that all this information that is gathering from the customers to put it all together and to have like the full information about the customer
and to be able to convert this lead into a real customer.
So basically what we aim for is like a unified AI driven experience across all the channels so that all have the same, probably I didn't show you, but in the CRM what we have is like like a memory depot where you can put all the documents of the company and then it has like a brain for the whole company and everybody uses that in the same way.
So the same context, the same memory, so all the conversations are done in the same way.
So if you want a funny way or a serious way, if you are more into medical or whatever your company is, but everybody follows the same rules.
And also I think it's super important to have the automated engagement 24-7, especially where I started in the veterinary world, there are a lot of veterinary hospitals that work 24 hours during the night. And the problem normally is that during the night there is only one vet and it was impossible for him to get a dog from a car crash, be doing the surgery, then you get another phone call from somebody else and somebody rings the bell. So it's impossible to do all these things at the same time.
So for these guys it was really incredible that an AI could filter these phone calls and only pass them through the ones that are really important and you know tell them okay we are in a surgery please come within half an hour if possible or come as soon as you can.
So AI power insights and analytics, I already discussed that it's really really important to have all these AIs linked together in order to give us insights and analytics about our customers and really have all the data together about how they feel, what their behaviors are, the communication channels they use, everything together in the same place.
So, what are the problems of, they are not the problems of AI everywhere, they are the problems of everything, but for me the biggest problem is integrations.
1We are also developing a tool that is in our company that is called Leica, that is like an IoT device for dogs and cats that you put in the collar of the dogs and it has movement and sound. And so we tell the owner, hey, your dog is vomiting or has vomited three times or is crying too much or is coughing in the mornings. Maybe it has heart problems.
So an IoT device linked to an app that uses the app to send the data to an AI, big AI, two AIs, one for sound and one for movement. But integrating all that is key to be able to give the owner of the animal the tutor, we have to say in Spain now, real information about the animal. So all the parts, the firmware in the hardware of the device, the app, the AI, everything has to be linked together in order to be able to give them this information.
We started two years ago. It's not a multimodal, but we will change it soon, hopefully.
Another issue that we normally have to deal with is the management of the companies. Because if you really work in AI in Coca-Cola, you will know that not everybody is into AI.
And sometimes people take it as, oh, no way.
show them how you can help them is easy, but there is first a reluctant part that is very very difficult to achieve and we need to know that this exists and learn to work on it and be able to solve it because otherwise we will not get customers. So we just need to acknowledge that it's there.
And then there is talent shortage. Why I mention this?
Because we had issues in our company this year. So it's great that all of you know about AI because you will never lack a job. And basically, there is not many people that really know about AI.
I've had even issues like people saying hi with a great CV and everything. And then you make them like a quick test of doing a very easy automation and they are not able to do so.
Thank you very much that you're in the AI world and really with knowledge. Thank you very much.
