and then fill in the gaps and content yourself so let's apply all sections we'll apply them all in a single page down here you can see the pages and you can rename the page so let's say the first page would be about
And you can see here, it's giving you a lot of areas you can fill in.
Obviously, you can replace your logo.
We'll briefly show you the brand section, which is a page feature you can see here with the crown.
So if you did pay extra, you can upload your own logo and branding colors and make really quick edits to things in that sense.
But if you're just going to go with the free version and just go up a template, you'd be able to do this, add multiple pages, say you want the second page to be called.
and let's say you want to upload another section another type of template these two kind of match in in background which is really useful they do have
loads of different options.
You can see here on the left it prompts you.
You can also search for the type of template you're looking for to help, but I had a little search beforehand for purple and blue for the Mindstone colours.
So let's say here we don't want it to be Employee Guide, you want it to be, let's say we're going to go for the name of the company
There's just a AI generated fake organization logo.
So I'll just copy that for now.
So you can edit all these sections.
You can create links.
So this link will take you to the page.
So you create a page and you can link it to that.
You can link it to external things.
On our contact us page, we've got a variety of things linked.
including LinkedIn, social media, emails, that sort of thing.
The other thing that I've been really enjoying is an add-on app to Canva called Flourish.
If you're a data-driven organization or want some really good function visuals, you can select from these and upload your own data.
I will also point out that you, for free, select the template and then add in the data or part of the paid version, as you can see here, with the gift box.
You can start with data and then it will recommend different options of graphs.
But within, you can still create some graphs within.
In the elements section, you're able to add lots of call functions.
So questionnaires.
really nice and useful graphics charts here.
So if you want something slightly simpler or just slightly less choice, you can use these.
So everything's super easy to edit.
So you can just drag and drop.
I also highly recommend using
while settings guides so you know if you're wanting to square things off nicely makes it a lot easier to do so with a ruler setting up here particularly useful for a website also within here you also have
these AI generated fake people, you can replace that in the upload section with your team, your organization by uploading the photos or for other areas, you might want to put an AI generated image, which you can all do within Canva.
Say I want happy blonde man.
Give it a little bit of time.
And so you can just delete that out of this section.
And drag and drop the change.
Super easy to use.
I think this is really helpful for people or organisations that don't have a dedicated marketing team or don't want to at that stage of the organisation pay for a marketing or web design company to create something for them and it's all very customisable.
you can also use the feature that allows you to you if you have the paid branding you can upload your company's kind of ethos or messaging and then ask it to use ai to reword or help you generate text in that branding or messaging which is also really really easy i would say um particularly as a first draft
I highly recommend editing and tweaking and making it personal yourself to make sure nothing sounds too auto-generated.
But while this looks really good, let's say we're going to preview it.
You have an idea of how it would look if it was published.
If everything's animated, you can change the animations I'll show you in a second.
You can scroll to multiple pages.
I haven't actually linked any of these contactless links to anything currently, but like I said, you can link other websites, you can create more links that automatically open an email as well as embed QR codes.
I hadn't named this one yet.
This is the one where we're playing around with some graphics that you could upload your own data to.
And then you can also preview it in mobile.
is also something i really like because you may want to change and edit how it would appear
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
which you can do from template
or what you're looking for in your installation.
very cool
this is
I haven't used the video function yet.
Can anyone hear me?
um seems like we've got a bit of echo um is there still lots of echo from your side from the beginning wow so you just can't hear speaking at all can you hear us now though all good now
Okay.
Demo gods.
Demo gods are not always in our favor.
Cool.
Perhaps it's because it's on the web design version.
I don't know if that affects what we're doing, because earlier it was demoing fine.
Okay.
Well, you visually saw what I was looking at, which was Canva for creating a website.
If you can hear me now, I'll briefly just go over what I was saying.
It's a really simple way of creating a website using templates or from scratch.
We've used it to design our AI-compatible redesign recently.
I'm not a web designer by trade, but it's really good if you are a solopreneur or small business, maybe you work for a charity and you don't have the budget to
hire a marketing agency to redesign your brand for you.
It gives you lots of prompts.
The other page that I flipped to was Flourish, which we've been experimenting with recently to visualize some of our data and our feedback and what we do.
And that's part of Canva.
There are paid features.
One of the paid features I was mentioning is branding.
I think part of the reason I particularly enjoy using Canva is it's one of the
creative AI-based marketing tools that we use that we've actually gone ahead and bought the pro version of.
And that gives us access to save our brand, save our templates, and then recreate them.
So each time it's saving, each time we create something, it's saving us a lot of time and effort in changing the colors, the font.
And also then it will prompt you to be able to
use those templates in other forms.
So if you've created a presentation template, you can then apply that to your LinkedIn social media posts, et cetera.
Apologies that you didn't hear what I was saying when I was on the web.
version of Canva, slightly strange, but if people have questions, which perhaps you do in terms of what I was waffling on about, let me know and I will try and answer them, but without flicking to that web preview, just in case it's when you, it might be that when you're previewing the website, it's somehow affecting the audio of what I'm doing.
So was there any questions around what I was saying as that was
going ahead.
Yes, I've used Gamma.
Gamma is really, really fast, particularly if you want the application to
input content for you and then you edit the content, that's really useful with Gamma.
When you're creating presentations for business purposes, it's easier to have something that you can create your branding for.
And also, I don't always necessarily want the content to be AI generated.
if I'm creating a report or a presentation to go to a client, I already have the content internally and I'm just looking to visualize it.
And I do think Canva, in my opinion, does that better.
I also think Gamma has a very specific look to it.
Canva is very personalizable.
And so you can personalize it even using the templates and just editing the templates to a way that I don't think it's so obvious that you've used an AI tool to create it.
I do think
the Gamma presentations, maybe because I spent a lot of time looking into this, but I can usually spot them quite easily.
The other question was, is it easy to deploy the web page?
Yes, you have two options.
If you already have your web domain, you can attach it.
We did this.
We actually previously had the old website off of Gamma.
And like I said, I didn't love the fact it very much looked like it was created in Gamma.
So we removed Gamma and put our Canva design on it instead.
It did take, I think, a day to really kick in properly.
For a while, it was the AICompatible.co.uk dash Canva.
But after a day, that seems to disappear.
And now it just comes up as AICompatible, which is great.
If you haven't purchased your domain yet, you can actually do that through Canva as well, which is really, really super easy for people who are just getting started.
Any other questions?
Okay, perfect.
I think I'll hand back over to Jo now.
Seamless transitions.
Excellent work.
OK, I think my demo is going to be the shortest of everybody's.
I'm actually going to run through one of the things James mentioned in his talk.
I'm actually doing it, which is Claude connections feature.
