Who I Am

So, you might have noticed that's me. and the eagle -eyed amongst you would have noticed that I am a clinical doctor working in the NHS by background.

How I Got Here

So this is an unlikely place for me to end up and I'll spend the next two to three minutes explaining how I ended up here.

From Medicine to AI

Two to three years ago obviously when all of this AI tech was booming I've got really excited and saw an opportunity to use these powerful tools to make some serious changes in our healthcare system that has many problems which we all know know very well about.

it pushed me out of my comfort zone, and someone recommended that I come along to this church on a Tuesday evening in the middle of Farringdon where people get together and talk about AI, and I said, yeah, sure, hell, why not?

I guess we're all here tonight because of that same reason.

The Literacy Gap in Healthcare

And then now I go back to do clinical shifts, and I spend time with my colleagues, and I I realized how little they know about this kind of stuff. And that digital literacy is very limited in our healthcare system,

which is going through a major digital transformation, by the way, this isn't something that's just here, it's happening on a systems level, but the day -to -day workforce is very unaware.

Starting on TikTok

So in my small effort, I thought, okay, well, I know a lot, so why don't I just start posting about it on TikTok? I've never been a TikToker in the past, I haven't done any dances, I can promise you that.

but you know I thought let's give it a go and my approach is very simple this video in particular didn't take me very long at all I didn't think much about a hook or a storyline or a call to action I just thought okay I get value for

Why the Video Went Viral

coming to this event so why don't I just share it and share the value to other people and what I didn't expect probably the same thing you don't expect tonight

is for it to blow up the way it did and I've been asking myself why and I think Beatrix has got a brilliant demo to help us understand why in a little bit more detail but what I've gathered is that there is an audience of professionals

Beatrix’s Demo: Analyzing the TikTok

Hello, everyone. So some of you might know me already. I've been here a couple of times before.

Plan for the Session

So, I'm Beatrix, a practical AI trainer and one of the MindStone coaches as well. So, why are we here today?

The TikTok Effect on Attendance

Last month, if you have been here, we had a massive packed full house. We were downstairs in the crypt. And people were just coming, coming and coming to the event.

And first, we didn't know what happened. then actually I put two plus two together and I was like I saw a TikTok this might be the TikTok

in fact it was the TikTok I do have my background in digital marketing and after leaving the meetup last month my mind was just spiraling that we need to we need to use this

Demo Goals and Tools

opportunity somehow so I came up with an idea that what if I built a demo to analyze the tick tock life and then basically drew a few insights from an analysis using AI agents and then demo Google's, Google Gemini's capabilities to build new creatives for MindStone.

So that's what we will do today and I will show you a couple of methods for the analysis to compare the different results we can get from different AI tools.

Okay, so I hope you can hear me because I need to step away a little bit because I need my hands.

Kicking Off the Analysis

So, first thing, let's start with an analysis.

Perplexity Comet Analysis

For the analysis, we will first use the Perplexity Comet browser.

Just a quick hands up, who is using the Perplexity Comet? Okay, some of you, some of you.

What Comet Is

For those who don't, so Comet is the The Perplexity standalone browser, basically, with agentic features, which I love.

Prompting the Agent

So, as you can see in Comet, we have the TikTok video, and using the assistant, I will ask it to, I will use voice conversation, okay? Act as a social media strategist and analyze this TikTok video. I really want to understand why it has been saved so many times and why it went viral. Also run a sentiment analysis on all the comments and give me three actionable steps for MindStone if they wanted to act on the success of this TikTok video.

Speech Prompting Tip

Okay, so the speech to text tool was SuperWhisper in case you were wondering and if you haven't tried speech prompting yet, then you should. It completely changes the output of your interactions.

How the Agent Works

So as you see, let me explain what's happening. So, the comment agent took over the screen and you can see on the right, the analysis is already running for us.

The beauty of the comment agent is that this agent actually has access to all the content content and comments on the TikTok. You couldn't do the same with, let's say, with ChatGPT or Gemini.

But as you see, so now we will let it work because it takes a few minutes to compare, but it will open up all the comments and autonomously basically analyzes our video. video.

Comparing With Gemini

I will jump between the screens a little bit, and then I will go to Gemini.

And in Gemini, we will also compare two different kinds of analysis.

Uploading Assets to Gemini

So first, we will simply use a normal chat, and I will just upload a screen recording of the TikTok. Basically, I also copy -pasted the comments. Yes, and just a screenshot of the TikTok account.

I keep having this issue with Gemini recently that I can't attach files. So let me try this way.

Yeah, we need the comments as well. okay so and what if we just went back because I'm really really lazy to prompt again so I will use the same prompt in a normal Gemini chat okay and let's see

Access Limitations vs Comet

what happens because if I only posted the link to the tik -tok in Gemini it it wouldn't be able to access it, okay? That's a very important difference between the Comet agent and Gemini.

Gemini Deep Research

Also, let me show you a third analysis, which I have actually done previously before the event using the deep research function within Gemini.

The reason I'm not doing the deep research live right now because it would take 10 -15 minutes to complete and just simply we are short on time.

So I have just opened this up because I really wanted to show you this one as well.

Inputs and Task for Deep Research

So again, I uploaded the same three assets. So the comments, exported comments, video screenshot and a normal screenshot of the TikTok account. and I asked Gemini Deep Research to run a sentiment analysis on the video.

And as the Deep Research normally does, it came back with a massive analysis on all, you see, like all of this is the analysis.

What Deep Research Adds

But the thing is, how deep research is different from the normal chat analysis than in the deep research mode, Gemini has also run an entire full research on MindStone as a business as well, researching meetup websites, Reddit, online communities to verify the actual MindStone as a business. so it has done a very very thorough research for us and

Bringing Results Into Gemini

We had the same insight, actually, from the comment, local SEO sentiment analysis of comments. So we had skepticism, you see. See, I actually, I don't know how you feel, but actually, I prefer the comment analysis more than this.

It gave us also the percentage of ratio of the different sentiments on the comments. And also, I love the depth of the deep research.

Synthesis and Creative Direction

So let's combine all these three, okay, to have a really thorough analysis of our content. So here in the chat, I will paste the comet analysis, and then I will attach the deep research as well. So we have all the data and now I will ask Gemini to synthesize these three researches which are all pretty significantly different and come up with three new creative concepts for MindStone.

Why Use Gemini Here

question you haven't asked why am I using Gemini specifically today you might ask if I'm being honest we could use chat GPT as well but most of the the time we are doing chat GPT demos. So I wanted to, like, honestly, this is my main reason.

I wanted to bring some variety to the event and give a bit of a showtime for Gemini as well, because Gemini actually got an update quite recently, a few years ago, and it is really good.

Personalizing the Visuals

So we want not just like a random, I need to open a new chat. So we want not just a random guy on our picture in a random church, right? We want Dr. Amir there. Let's put him on the picture in our church.

So what we will do, using this prompt, I will upload three reference images, which is, one of them is a simple screenshot of Dr. Amir's TikTok, where his face is visible.

Sorry, I just, this is not that. The other one will be his profile picture from TikTok. Oh, gosh, I'm lost. yes and the third picture will be a picture of the church for reference so

we are adding attaching you see okay and yeah let's see what comes out hopefully hopefully, a nice picture of Dr. Amir in the church.

And obviously, I've run this experiment before, and it worked, even though now I'm very nervous what comes out. Beauty of life demos.

On Face Usage and Generation

But you might be wondering what I've just done. I mean, like, I have just uploaded Dr. Amir into my Gemini, asking it to create an image with his face. And Gemini has no issues with that.

I will let that open. Okay. So, let's see what we have. Here we are.

But, yeah, it resembles Dr. Amir.

Animating the Image

And as a last step, let's save this image and animate it just for more fun. Okay? Okay, so what we will do is I will download the picture, which always takes a lot of time. Who knows why?

Okay, we have it. We are going back to our original chat where we had the old brainstorming about the creative concepts. I am uploading this image we just generated and then okay let's say I will

ask it to create a video generation prompt so okay we created this visual attached, write a video generation prompt for VO3 to animate this image and also include a voiceover or a message into the sound of the video.

Tooling Frictions

So one thing I don't like about Gemini and ChatGPT is actually better at this is you see I have to switch between the different chats if I wanted to bring in different modalities within the chat like image generation or okay or video generation and actually ChatGPT can handle this then okay then I will just come here and I will ask it to to animate the video.

Where are we? You see? I can't do this in the same chat. I have to start a new chat.

Anyone here from Google? Can you please fix this? Seriously, I made this image. We want to animate an image.

So, this won't be perfect because Gemini failed failed to give us a video generation prompt. However, hopefully, it will animate our image.

Q&A on Tools and Limits

And it takes a couple of minutes, so I'm happy to take a question, if you have any, to me

me or to to Amir yes yeah it's yes this is a pro account so with the free Gemini account you can access the image generation but not the video if I'm correct but they keep changing what's included in the different subscription

tiers so this one is a pro account as you can see at the top right corner as well which which gives you currently three video generations per day and

definitely not unlimited image however I have never reached the limit so I'm not sure what the exact limit that so I like a few more in terms of images and again
