Just a quick introduction, Cloth is one of the main competitors of ChatGPT, Gemini, right? But it's a tool that has been focusing a lot on more technical stuff and all this Asian word that you see nowadays, Cloth is one of the leaders there.

Assistants vs. Agents: What Changes

So when we talk about an agent, it's the same about an assistant. That's the first thing that we need to differentiate, right? An assistant, it's when you use ChatGPT normally, you ask a question, prompt, and you receive a response. If you don't type down the prompt, you don't receive a response, and that's it.

But what an agent really is, is something that can take actions on your behalf, that can enter to your email or not, can send an email draft one can enter to a folder and move files there it can do things and that's what we are going to see today how can we use cloud to do

things not just assistance but we can use an agent so first of all I am using the cloud desktop app I am running a Mac and the the tool that we are going to use today is currently just available on Mac devices obviously it's going to be

available on Windows devices soon so here is the main cloud interface and you see at the top here that we have three main ways of using this tool the first one is the chat is the assistant right you get to do conversations the second one is the co -work the one that we are going to use today and the third one is cloud code which

is focused of on developers and fun fact co -work it's came from cloud code so co -work this tool here it's something that the company behind cloud developed with his own product right so first of they launch cloud code as a product and by using that product they launch another product which is kind of hilarious.

Why Co-Work Is Different from Standard Chat

So what's the main difference with co -work and cloud?

Let me give you an example.

Demo 1: Letting Claude Organize Desktop Folders

Co -work can access for instance your folders. I can give it access to my desktop, right?

When you give access to anything using co -work you will get this advice so you need to manually allow each interaction that you do.

As you can see currently I have these files in my desktop so it's kind of organized. You see that I have various folder and just for the sake of this demo I'm gonna do the following.

Access the various folder in my desktop and move each of the folders into three folders that you are going to generate based on the categories of each of the current folders.

This is a simple prompt, right? It's just for the sake of the demo so you can see how cloud can actually perform actions on my computer right in this in this case so let's let's check right okay so you see

that it's starting this is a different interface right here at the right part we have always these three things right the progress because an agent what what it does is it creates a process of concrete steps that the AI plans beforehand and then executes them continuously in this particular task it's an easy progress so it's it haven't done kind of a longer one but on the

next example it will do so now it has reorganized the folder and if we go to it you can see it right cloud has actually made changes on a folder it seems kind of like magic on one hand I'm gonna I was going to say kind of basic

because yeah okay you have three files but the point there is that we are seeing AI that it's starting to do things on our behalf and that's all the main takeaways that I want you to realize like wow it has done something right so in this case it has analyzed each of the contents of its folder and has created three categories based on on them great so you see that it has completed the task and it has sent me kind of a report great let's

Running Multiple Tasks in Parallel

let's move to a deeper task or at least a more challenging one you see here at the left bar that all the tasks that you are currently running are gonna be there

1because the thing about this tool is that you can have five, six, ten tasks running at the same time.

I was listening to a talk from the founder or the head of the team that has developed this product and he's a programmer, right? So he codes daily

and what he's doing right now is that 100 % of his new line codes are AI written

and what he's doing is to have five to ten tasks running at the same time so he's like multitasking each of them continuously right so it's kind of an idea of what we are moving to I'm going to share with you now this plugin thing

Plugins: Commands, Connectors, and Skills

this has been dropped days ago so it's quite new what is this plugin thing Right, so here we have five plugins, productivity, marketing, sales, finance, and enterprise search.

These plugins particularly have been developed by Amtropic. So they are kind of official plugins from the developer of this tool, which is the company Amtropic.

Plugin Components: Commands and Connectors

1A plugin is made up of three things, comments, connectors, and skills. The comments are the instructions of what this plugin does. The productivity plugin has two comments which can start the plugin and can update it continuously. So it's the actions that the plugin can make.

Then you have the connectors. As you see, in a productivity plugin, you can connect to Microsoft, you can create to notion slack etc etc right if we were talking about the marketing plugin the connectors would be hotspot figma right similar web from for marketing data each plugin has its own main

connectors which can retrieve data so cloud for instance in the sales plugin could enter your crm and read your businesses write new businesses change deal in the funnel it could make actions on your behalf on each of these tools and then we have the

skills skills are skills right our capabilities that the that we've clothed

to empower its its usage right so for instance in the marketing plugin we have many skills brand voice which apply and enforces brand voice style guides how

many of you have created something using a guy and you were like this document it's not using my brand guidelines so forget that that's the past the present and the future is skills that you have instructed once all your brand guidelines and each moment that Klotz understands that it needs to apply

Executing the Task: Planning Steps and Desktop Access

I'm gonna select cloud to work again on my desktop folder and I'm gonna start the task and in fact this is actually a task it's gonna take like 10 minutes maybe I have prepared beforehand obviously but it's going to be going to start a task right it's gonna be starting to create context here okay you

will see that it's gonna go to the sapping web here it has created the process as I said before so AI what it does is it first create a plan and then it executes and that's necessary for this kind of tasks, right?

So it has created the first tasks, okay? So you see that it's encountered an access of extinction, that's part of my prompt actually.

Use the desktop extension extension to access Zapping's Web page you see that I can interrupt its thinking and create something which is not a Something that you can do on your chat or your assistants AI so it's part of this new this new Paradigma right

now and if it's gonna It's gonna ask me something for instance to access your web pages in the desktop Could you help me understand which method works best? So now I'm going to tell Claude to access my web page and take screenshots of the content. And now it's running the task.

What the Agent Produces: Files, Summaries, and Evidence

So while the task is being completed, I'm going to show you the final result, which is this one right this is a this is a chat that I've done this morning which is like the complete chat right so first of all I sent the same prompt it it did a lot of things and it finally created this into my desktop into my desktop

folder so it generated six files which you can see here an executive summary you can see run voice analysis and so on and so forth just to conclude my tasks also during the during the the task it used my my desktop to access a cloud right so it accessed the our web page took some screenshots obviously to to review my brand communication and use that into its thinking.

Now it's writing the action plan, it's going to be there for a while.

Extending the Workflow: Sharing Deliverables via Outlook

Now if I could, for instance, to continue the conversation, I could ask Claude to access my outlook, for instance, and share this plan with the marketing team. so it's gonna tell me okay do you want to deliver it to Jorge tell me his full email okay you got it there and now you create a .zip file and it does the the job because it's also connected to my Microsoft because I've given access

to it right so well this is an example for a workflow yeah I'm I'm just in time of how we could use a cloud cohort and specifically take actions on our health.

In fact here you have all the documents that cloud generated this morning while I was doing another thing, right? Documents that you saw on the cloud app, all the run boys etc etc and it generated

specifically this new folder to organize them up.

Conclusion: Co-Work as Practical Agentic Automation
