Dynamic Lead Magnets: How to Stand Out When Everyone Has AI

Introduction: Growing Revenue with AI-Driven Lead Magnets

This presentation is going to be about basically generating, growing business, generating more revenue through dynamic lead magnets.

So just to start with a short poll here maybe.

Can you raise your hands as who here use AI for like basically every day?

Okay and who here works in marketing, sales or is a business owner okay nice and who uses ai to create content okay so i might have something for you

Quick Audience Poll and Speaker Background

something interesting for you so uh maybe quick uh intro about me my name is albert zushman i'm founder of scaling labs uh scaling club is a cold email agency so basically in we help our clients get more clients by reaching out to their clients and booking meetings so we send currently more than 100 ,000 cold emails per month for all of our clients

and we do it just in two people and I believe that there is a potential to 10x the scale of this business meaning the amount of emails that we send without growing the headcount simply because and thanks to AI automation and this presentation is gonna be about AI automation itself but here's one

The AI Paradox: More Output, Harder Differentiation

thing about AI it's a double -edged sword what does it mean so it helps us move faster so you can generate more output with less time but the other part of this equation is that everyone can do it right so our all of our competitors are using ai also to uh to generate content for example right so this is a one of the examples so the the the result is

um it's hard to stand out and that's the biggest issue because to grow to grow your business you cannot sound like everyone else so we'll circle back to this topic about how to

Leads and Lead Magnets 101

stand out but let me ask you a question what does every single business need to grow any ideas you need to own it yeah yes yes that's a that's a good point definitely but I will help you guys you need leads that's the second question that's the second answer right so you need more leads because the more

leads you you you generate the faster your business growth so it's a direct correlation between how many leads you generate your business generates and how

fast you grow so what is a lead maybe let's let's do a simple maybe definition so it's a someone who interacted with your marketing activities for example someone who clicked on your ad filled a form on your website reached out to you directly maybe with some question or reply to your cold email okay and how do

Three Core Lead-Generation Channels

you generate leads so there are dozens of ways that you can generate leads dozens of activities but you can simplify those to three different buckets.

So you can run ads, for example, Google ads, meta ads, Twitter ads, or X, whatever.

You can do direct outreach, so you can reach out to people via code email, for example, via LinkedIn. You can cold call people, everything just to generate leads.

Also content, for example, blog posts, SEO optimized, or social media posts on basically every platform so you do all of this just to be more visible to get more traffic but the thing is people can see your content but it doesn't mean they are interested in your stuff so traffic doesn't convert

Why Traffic Alone Doesn’t Convert

alone you need something to capture it so here comes the lead magnet so what is

What a Lead Magnet Is (and Why It Works)

a lead magnet let's start from this a lead magnet is some kind of form of free value so for example as i'm selling um call human services so clients might have questions about okay how do you warm up your inboxes or how do you send so many emails wherever so i can create a pdf showing how to solve one specific problem so usually lead magnets

it's a form of free value, you give it for free, you show your expertise so it brings your potential client closer to you and in exchange they give you contact details so that you can follow up, you can reach out to them and you can you know get the conversation going.

So there are different kind of lead magnets that you can find online for example I'm sure everyone here seen the LinkedIn post type that common strategy and I will send you some kind of document you could you probably seen it on website feeling this and get a free guide or

Dynamic Lead Magnets: Hyper-Personalized Value at Scale

meta ads download your free checklist or cold email can I send you a case study or a PDF document so the problem with all of them they are like 80 % fit for everyone so this is they give a solution to a specific problem but none of them are actually hyper personalized so directly specifically for you so what if

every document was written specifically for for you so not on how to so we go from how to solve a specific problem to how you can solve this specific problem yourself specifically for your business okay so for example I would like to

learn how to run ads for my company, okay? And I can get a guide on this is how you write ad copy for meta ads.

But what if someone sent me how to run ads for cold email agency that works in Europe with B2B companies from 50 to 200 employees and this is basically my case? This would give me a wow moment definitely made me feel impressed and trust more and want to talk with this business who provided me with such value right so it just the

shrinks the the contract the yeah this relationship I would say so 1with AI content is easy to get everyone can create generic PDFs so and standing out is hard as I mentioned before so here is so we have these two type of lead

magnets that I mentioned first one here is you solve a specific problem and here is how you can solve it like yours specifically you a solution to the problem for you that's what i just just said on a previous slide so i'll give you uh quick examples

Example 1: Personalized Ad Hooks for a Specific Business

on how can this work so for example a performance marketing agency that sells meta ads for example or google ads can say hey here's a 10 meta ad hooks that you can that you can use for your business for a restaurant whatever skincare clinic and stuff

like that and on the other side this is what we we're talking today is a dynamic lead magnet

imagine that you're on a website you're a restaurant and this performance marketing agency has a form and say uh hey leave us your website uh your name and we'll deliver to your email within 60 seconds an exact copy for ad or hooks for your ads that would be 100 for you for your company so

So we know that based on your company name and website, we know that you're a Thai restaurant in Warsaw. You know what we sell, what you sell, because we have your menu.

And we can generate it specifically for you. So this is an example of a dynamic lead magnet.

Example 2: SaaS Instant Personalized Demo Experience

Let's go for another one, a SaaS product.

So usually, when you want to request a demo, you have a salesperson who reach out to you and want to book this demo, or you book it directly.

And here, for example, let's say there is a SaaS that sells to hotels or maybe to medical clinics. And someone fills out the form, and you deliver them personalized dashboard with their company name,

with a person who filled out the form, with a picture of their facility saying, hey, this is specifically for you.

within 60 seconds without waiting five days for the first meeting so this creates a wow effect for your clients this is hyper personalized and this makes you stand out from the crowd and the last example for and we'll go

Example 3: Custom Outreach Strategy for Agency Prospects

through a small demo on that for example for my agency we usually go with our clients for a seven step process on like what we do for them when we onboard them so we want to figure out the best use cases or what will bring them the best

results so one of these one of the steps is hey we'll find all the all your potential clients I mean decision makers within your market that's changed their jobs within last three to six months okay so this is valuable for them because they're likely to make a decision or make some changes within the

company as the onboard and with this fully custom strategy what we can do if we have a website of a specific company we can say hey we can help you find IT directors in manufacturing companies above 500 employees because we know

that yours that is your ICP and we can help you target them so they when they receive such a doc such document they know it's exactly for them not that they they have to figure it out themselves.

Demo Walkthrough: Generating a Personalized Strategy in 30–60 Seconds

Okay, so I prepared a video, a quick Loom video, showing how this work.

So this is an app that I coded using cloud code. And what it does is basically I provide this app with name of a lead, the company name, their LinkedIn profile and the person who reached out to me and by the way

this this document that I prepared helped me book meeting with a CEO of a brand agency that works with companies like Lego Minecraft or EA sports so it went through entire company just straight up to CEO and he wanted to call and to talk with me because of how fast and relevant it was so start maybe so

So basically, this is the entire dashboard.

What the App Produces and How Fast It Runs

1What I can say also, it takes about 30 to 60 seconds to generate entire personalized strategy for them. And it can be fully automated because this data can be,

Automating Inputs and Delivery with APIs

we can take this data about our prospect. For example, if they fill out a form on your website, it can be connected via API to your app. So you don't have to actually put it in yourself.

it can be through cold email also through API from your tool straight to this app so it can be fully automated and presented in a way in a PDF or here in the dashboard so as you take as you see it takes some time but yeah yeah so

it finished so based on the maybe I'll stop it here based on the data I provided it it prepared entire a message I can copy this to the document or it can create a document itself for this specific person so we know their ICP so this they did AI here reach research their entire market so we know who they target and as you can see the headline here this is what we would do for you

who they target with geography their target what decision makers and it's hundred percent correct the CMO's head of brand brand directors how big is their market and here as you can see playbooks will run so what we will do

for you specifically on your example we will target CMO new brand directors in in your role and we look for funding or M &A's that happened in your market or or within your target market. So this is an entire document, one and a half pages, I believe.

Wrap-Up: Using Dynamic Lead Magnets to Book Calls Faster

I won't read it to you, don't worry. And yeah, you can tweet it exactly. I can basically something to warm up your potential client and build trust and as a way to book contact with you.

So you can insert a link to your company, for example, And if they like it what if they like what they see they can book a call directly directly with you from there. So Yeah

Do you have any questions guys? Here's a QR code that you can scan and connect with me on LinkedIn and yeah

Q&A: Quality Control, Sources, and Practical Build Tips

Human-in-the-Loop Review and Reducing Hallucinations

So, yeah, so that's a good question I didn't show it on on the screen but you you have your guidelines for the AI to do the research and And in this app, you have another LLM chat that you can say, hey, please change this. Because it's still human in the loop, so you don't put it like it's 100 % correct and send it straight to your client. You check it out always. I mean, we are at the stage of AI right now that I would rather check it.

So you have some sources of the passwords? For example, that there's some person that you have a source that example data. I think I know what you mean. So I input the data as on website and LinkedIn so I know it used this or Google search but it doesn't provide me with specific like hey this is the article news and I found this info here. So it doesn't go that deep. I probably could but I didn't need to in in this case?

Using Examples, Guardrails, and Context Engineering

Like in these sort of cases, what I think you're talking about is what you wanna do is you wanna grab an example, what AI will do. Sometimes even screenshots might be better than text. So let's say you have a PDF, let's say an example of what this might look like. Well, you put a screenshot to tell it what this should look like, and those files should be referenced where they are located, and then the AI will look at those.

But you have to make it very strict and make sure that the guardrails around it are very well, this is what good looks like some people put in bad but most of the time it will be AI will most likely copy what it sees so if you give an example of let's say that report it's gonna produce that pretty much I wouldn't say reliably a hundred percent where it's a hundred percent repeatable but you know this isn't a hospital for something like this I think it's five percent error rate is

not that yeah yeah yeah definitely like you always have to check if it makes makes sense it's not hallucinating and there's a window for you to text and maybe ask something else or check or change some data so that that definitely helps yeah anyone else yeah no sorry maybe I didn't mention it clearly enough

Building the Workflow with Cloud Code (Even as a Non-Developer)

so I use cloud code to automate everything so I basically knew what I'm looking for I just described it and it took me a few hours and I haven't coded anything in my life.

It's just an app. So probably you can do it in any then by connecting agents together but it was quicker quicker for me as a non -technical person really yeah yes

specific context it's it's this is specifically for for companies that you use lead magnets to attract potential buyers or clients right so this is something that a lead magnet v2 i would call it because a normal lead magnet gives you a generic solution it can be good solution to a specific problem but this shows how this problem can be solved for you for your company and if you fill a form this is can be this will be showed how your company can use it

right so this is more about conversion optimization from lead magnet sent I would say this Okay, how I'm doing

Solution ready that practically once I'm searching for something and then you see the link in that chapter Then there will be like I click the link and then I will go to a site where practically it's just like if I'm going to Brand a website and then there will be an X coming from brand new website because this high -end intense search is there and oh you're clicking from gpt and then they give you ads yeah so it's

it's like i'm clicking the source in check gpt because when i check in check gpt i have already have a very high intent like i want to buy something i want to understand i want to understand about that when i click so i will go to that source so the source that already geo optimized but then in that source at the same time i will get the ads from competitors that

practically already so this is something now that is already in ai so how the solution practically give us like a direct use because if i'm a business owner and then i don't want to put anything like credentials what's normally on the job which is chat in lm and then yeah so

i i maybe i can address one thing so you said are you would chat for specific solution in this llm so what this llm doesn't have for versus let's say uh some agency or some other company is their internal knowledge and processes on how they deal with specific situation or type of clients because

they've done it so many times that's how you cannot figure out everything yourself even though you have access to chat gpt right now you cannot do everything all kinds of ads for yourself and be the best at it because that's why there are agencies that they have like real world experience

so this AI here is fed with information that worked for us in the past and that's how it generates the replies so this is a difference and other agency can have other types of of information or date data or know -how on the backend so their answers could be or ideas or strategies can be different so I think that that is the general difference here and the most important difference and

also that you mentioned that it's also that you're directing directed from chat GPT to the specific website it's just like a different marketing strategy but I'm talking here I'm talking here about if you already have a PDF on your website and you try to for people to fill out the form to get something for

for free, that this is a PDF on steroids because this will work better because it's highly personalized for your clients and delivered immediately. So that's what I'm saying here.

Key Takeaways: AI Amplifies Your Process, Not Your Results

here yes okay yeah so I can see this is yes quite often I think one of the things quite often a lot of people AI is a magnifier for you for what you do what you do well or what you do poorly so when people think of automation when when people use AI, it's only going to work as well

as what is in your head put into the instructions for it to do something.

What Albert gave an example here of is a very personalized, it's what he took from his head, put it into a prompt, put it into cloud code, which talked with him for a while to give him a produced output that was specific

to not only what he has, but he also provided specific examples of what good looks like,

which is called context engineering he built the the system like because to kind of answer your questions well chachi pt knows everything but if it knows everything it knows nothing very well what albert's talking about here is stating specifics and that's where you as a person using ai have to navigate it to understand what good looks like on a couple iterations go through it

because that's at least today maybe it will change in the future but at least today that context and that specific business know -how that you only know plus what you've produced before is going to produce the good results that you're looking for versus somebody else if you do it a thousand times then there might be time to automate but at this point in time if anybody looks up things that

are human that are fully automated we're talking EGI that's just not where we are at today and it would be misleading for people to think in those terms because you're actually going to produce a lot but a lot of really shitty content or a lot of whatever AI slop if you call it that right so

what he mentioned is a very important thing for everybody to remember with AI do not forget that it is your expertise you still have to steer this thing to create it what you wanted to do or not it's still like a super junior intern who will make a lot of mistakes they will only know how to do it well if you show them enough

experience to teach him how to do it well for you or not any agent will work on the same level or any of the subjective sort of stuff that I know

know that Sam Maltman said that we're all going to be out of work in three months, but yeah. So don't worry on that part, but just remember, you are still the main, like your judgment

is what's going to make the difference between good result and bad result. Yeah.

Maybe I can add something to that because I presented something because you asked about the fully automated stuff. and I said it's a so -called human in the loop

because I want to make sure that it's decent and there is no hallucination, as you said, right?

When (and Whether) to Fully Automate with APIs

But do you know what API is?

Yeah, so you can use APIs to connect it, for example, from your website provider, right? A framer or Webflow, whatever.

So whenever someone fills out the form, the data is provided to here. So you don't have to do it manually.

right so the document is generated automatically and what's more you can even add on to that that it can be sent via gmail also via api automatically without like you're blindfolded sending it like yolo whatever maybe it will be good maybe not but you can do it without touching it yes you can it's risky i would say right now and i wouldn't do it but it can be 100 automated

Yeah.
