The problem: unpaid workload and teacher burnout

1Teachers nowadays spends over 24 unpaid hours every week in additional work.

Basically 1 million teachers every week lose one day of their life for unpaid work.

Right now over 50 % of teachers in Europe show burnout symptoms and the educational system relies on the the teacher's sense of care and responsibility to deliver a quality education.

As a result, education quality really depends on how much extra work a teacher can carry.

The solution: Minerva’s AI-powered operating system for education

Turning hours of prep into one-click outputs

1We, with Minerva, enable teachers to turn 20 hours of manual work in just a click in the platform. They can create worksheets, mandatory school documents, activities, lesson plans, interactive games for students.

Basically, they go from a situation of confusion, burnout, stress, to use a platform where they can simply talk to an AI to create worksheets like that.

We created two worksheets for these days, and they can create PDF with all the design they need and personalize it based on the classroom.

Community, traction, and go-to-market

we built in one year the biggest community of teachers that use ai in in education and they don't just use minerva and in an online way but we have a deep connection with them we also organize physical in event so we have a really strong community and we also have a whatsapp group of of 2 ,000 teachers, so it's a bit of a cost, but it's something that is really useful for us.

And we traded the product with them. And we, in the past six months, we generated this amount of revenue. And we reached around 1 ,000 paying teachers

in one year and some months, fully organic. So we didn't invest in anything in ads. and we are trying right now to scale it.

Scaling plans: B2C first, then schools, parents, and students

The idea right now is to scale the B2C so try to reach more people in Italy and after of course also try to sell to

school and open the market also to parents and students because also parents use the platform to personalize and create activity for their children

and so we want to to scale that and expand of course also to europe we have a team to complete

each other so we have uh i'm the more technical one flavia is the credit director and the marketer of the platform and we have also francesca yoni that is a primary school teacher but also an influencer in the sector with over 200 000 followers and yeah i have a small demo if i I have enough time.

When the teachers use the platform for the first time, they have a small video.

Onboarding narrative: the student “Leonardo”

They have a small video where there is a student named Leonardo. And Leonardo have difficulties in the class to understand some text and to engage in activity.

And the idea of this video is to let the teachers understand that the idea of the platform is to create personalized things things that must be inclusive and is born for that. So the idea is to have this kind of storyteller.

Chat interface and AI-generated artifacts

And after that, they have this interface where they have this conversation with the AI. And they can create a new chat clicking this button.

And there are different tools. For this demo, I can show to you the activity one, where they can create a prompt, a request to the AI.

And the AI can create, as normally AI text, but it can also create PDFs that are ready to use, like the Artemis one in the picture. And also images, videos with stories to let children listen. So there are different artifacts that the AI can do. And yeah, the platform is very big.

Editing, decoration, and ready-to-use PDF design

there is also an interactive one but i don't have enough time to to show to you but the idea is that the teachers can create this activity in seconds they can use the editor in the platform to manually change it or add images and they can also use the eye to decorate when the worksheet is done to create a better designing pdf like these artemis one for example

For example, I show you a chart that is already done. For example, this worksheet is decorated. They can also create, I don't know, these kind of images and so on. So there are different aspects also like that.

Beyond activities: documents and assessment tools

There is also a different type of tools, like these are more things that teachers know really well they usually takes like

10 hours to create a PDP or an UDA or create a rubric of evaluation and with Minerva they can create in seconds so that's the idea for everything in the app
