VoxCoachAI – The AI communication coach for founders

The Need for Better Pitch Practice

I'm very excited to be here today, presenting like this new platform. My name is Matteo Zarali. I'm the founder of Vox Coach AI.

And a few months ago, I was thinking about how, for instance, founders, managers, or entrepreneurs are just training their pitch. And the answer was like, after interview, different like, of course, entrepreneurs and founders, like they use like mirrors, you know. You know, they use like, they record their voice on their cell phones, or even like, they use like one of the people at home. Like, could be your grandma, your mother, your father, or even like your daughter, whatever.

But we have two problems here. The first one is the time is limited, you know. And the second one, you don't have like a real -time and objective feedback on what you are talking about. because sometimes you know those people likes you or like you know they are close to you and they are not totally direct or in general objective it's something that could be like useful for you

Introducing Vox Coach AI

so that's why for the last few months i've been working and developing vox coach ai so this is the landing page so we're going to be not slides we're going through the landing page and then we enter in the dashboard and i will show you like a real case studies how it works so you will see practically how the AI can analyze even your pitch or something that you would like to to prepare.

So the platform at the moment has two languages so Italian and English so basically you can like just choose what you prefer and what would you like to work with.

Inside you can find like how it works so basically we will see directly in the dashboard, but basically you can make a pitch, the AI pushes back, you get the analysis, you follow the action plan, and of course you can pitch again and compare the different analysis and the different pitches that you have just recorded inside the platform.

So what you get is a realistic AI role play, pitch analysis, as we said before, content and delivery, tailor action plan and of course there is also an optional one -to -one coaching that you can choose to add to your subscription or your model that you will use.

Here we have some reviews, there is some collaboration already with the platforms in Italy and in Europe.

everything that like the theoretical things and also the the work behind Vox Coach AI. I recorded everything in one book that I published like two weeks ago with Ruth Lage and Taylor and Francis group so it's more academic things but inside a book there is like just one side and one space about the project.

Of course, everything is how the AI is transforming the way we do pitches and presentations, and not only related to artificial intelligence but also virtual reality and metaverse.

Platform Overview and Onboarding

Okay, so let's enter in the dashboard. So this is how it looks like inside.

The first things, of course, everything is now set up, but the first things that you're gonna do after you enter is to set up your profile. So basically, again, it's just a quick onboarding.

First of all, you choose the language, of course. Here, even like when you go inside your profile, you can even change it. So it's not like fixed. You can change every time you want.

Then you have like profile settings. So you just choose your professional category. There are different here, like academic, business pitch, job interview, public speaking, of course, if you're a salesman.

What's your main goal? So perfect my pitch, improve public speaking, boost sales skills. Your current level could be beginner, intermediate, and advanced.

And here you can even write down, for instance, a bit about your what's your professional context. Because of course at the beginning, like, there There are just multiple choices. But here you can go in detail about what you're looking for, and you can describe in detail what you do.

Then, of course, the areas you would like to improve could be voice, tone modulation, filler words, clarity, articulation, vocabulary, even the structure and the flow.

The length of the pitch, of course. So it could be like 30 seconds, one minute, 90 seconds, two minutes, et cetera, et cetera.

And here you can choose the voice that you would like to listen inside your simulations. Wherever you want, of course, you can just enter again inside your profile and change, make changes.

Personalized Assessments

The next step, once you enter, you have an assessment. This one is so important because once you enter, the AI wants to know more about you. So basically, you have two assessment.

The first one, it's written one. So basically, it's going to give you three minutes, a scenario, and you have to describe and to work and write down the things that AI is asking you.

And the second one is about voice role play. So instead of writing, you have to switch on the microphone, of course, and then you have 60 seconds, similar scenario, but you have to pitch. And then after that, you can get the analysis at the end.

Of course, you can always skip it, but once you enter, it's recommended to do it, because the platform is going to be personalized, of course, on your profiles and the things that you are doing inside the platform.

Preparing a Pitch

So there are different simulations inside, but tonight we're going to do a record pitch. So I'll show you exactly how it works.

Speech Template Library

Before doing it, I want to show you some feature inside that is quite useful. It's like speech templates library because someone could say like I'm a first -time founder or even like I don't know How to write down a pitch great? So inside this section you can find like different ready templates that you can use you can adjust and modify

For instance like job interview you enter here. Of course, you're gonna seal up some structure and in the in the breaks you can just change with your information. You can edit, you can copy, etc, etc.

Or another thing that could be useful is to create even templates from zero, from scratch. So you just enter and you write down the things that you would like to add.

For instance, you don't like the templates that the AI is giving to you, the platform is giving to you. Great! So you just create you from scratch. So I

Recording and Analyzing a Pitch

I show you, for instance, how it works like the record pitch. So it's quite simple. So I divide it in three phases. The first one is to set your pitch.

Let's make a title like demo talent garden garden 23. So what I can choose here is the templates. For instance, I create one, of course, before this presentation, the demo. OK.

Setting Up the Recording

Okay, I choose the accent because, yes, of course, there is even, like, a pronunciational coach inside the platform that can, like, analyze even your accent. It could be U .S. or U .K. So we know that there are some differences between the two languages. In this case, I use, like, U .S., and I start record.

So VoxCoach is basically a platform that, you know, uses artificial intelligence to help people become better at communication, public speaking, and things like that. Within communication, it's really important nowadays, especially with AI, changing everything. And a lot of people struggle with it.

Our platform has many features that can help users improve in various ways. And we believe it could be useful for a lot of different types of people. We're really passionate about this, and we think there's a big opportunity here so yeah we are building something

that we hope can make a real difference so I just stop so here you have two choices now you record again and you said like I didn't like so much you go back and say okay let's record or even like you can like say okay let's analyze it. Of course the process is gonna take like a few seconds, but as you can see

here, on your right, which is my left, you can find a template, but you can even every time choose to hide or use it, okay? Of course at the beginning you can use like, you can keep it and say like, I want to practice and see how, for instance, this kind of pitch is gonna work.

Feedback on Delivery and Structure

So we got the results, 49, okay.

First of all, we can see like three things to fix now. Reduce filler words, so he detected five filler words, and he said like, slow down, you're talking too fast. And yeah, there is no clear introduction and conclusion. I would agree with that.

Here, again, you can try to pitch again or read the improvement version. But the second step, as you can see, there is a speech -to -text, so the AI just wrote down the entire pitch that I record. And on the other side, you will see the AI improvement. So it's going to provide me an additional structure that a bit like analyze and modify. Of course in the terms like he thinks could be better

Here I have two choices to copy the entire text go back to the templates feature and say, you know what? I like it, but I would like to modify to add new things. You can do it easy

Then we're gonna have like voice space Pauses energy and fillers. So he said to me like too fast was not totally a big variety, moderate the energy, too few poses. That's totally agree because I was talking too fast and using a lot of filler words and he detected like you know I said twice basically and and things like that he detected so yeah so I think you remember a bit like my pitch.

What to do now practice the pitch without filler words, record yourself to identify and eliminate no words, where to pose after introduction and after introducing Vox Coach, before discussing feature, etc, etc.

Language, Content, and Action Plans

Then we have languages. So it's gonna save me like about vocabulary, grammar, and fluency.

He told me like you're using basic vocabulary, you're using like professional terms like artificial official intelligence, communication, and public speaking. But there are some errors about sentences and even like overuse of conjunctions.

What to do, of course, again, here is going to recommend me some things for improving my language, English language, of course.

Content structure, message, and persuasion. So here again, it's going to give me and provide me some scores. And then again, how we said before, for like the key messages, what really works, and the growth area.

And at the end, you can find the transcripts. And last but not least, your action plan. So it's going to provide just three things at the beginning. So record and refine your pitch, the structure.

He said like, it's not totally the best, so please restructure it, practice structure delivery, and work on pacing. This is something, of course, like quite useful for me, me, because of course the pitch was not totally the best, I would say the one that we recorded, but it was quite useful.

Pronunciation Coaching

Then we have pronunciation. I just want to show you that I can even ask for analyzing the pronunciation. Our works, it's a bit funny because it's providing me even like different words and now I'm pronouncing different words by giving me even the example of how to pronounce them. Of course, if you are interested about it.

So pronunciation feedback is overall score is 58, accent match 35, and words to improve. He even is going to provide me even like the phonetical stuff if someone is interested about phonetics.

And I can listen how to pronounce correctly this kind of words, the sounds to practice, of course, some tips, and again the transcripts at the end.

Additional Practice Tools

So now I finished like the record part, but every time I would like to review even the pitch, I just go to the library and I see like the last one. So do you remember the title? It was like demo Talent Garden 23. I see again the full analysis and here again I can re -listen myself. So here's the record is still there.

Of course there are other additional functionalities. Again, pronunciation coach, the one that I introduced before. Even here again you can choose like English or US or UK.

Interactive Role-Play Sessions

Rule play, this one is a bit different from recording, the recording one. So here you just choose the scenario, you customize the session, so you choose like which part of the the pitch you would like to improve, could be like complete pitch, ice breaking content, audience interaction, or even closing.

You have a coaching mode. So for instance, before we saw that the analysis going to, you will get the analysis at the end, but here, if you put like the coaching mode, you have like real time analysis. So meanwhile you are talking, you're gonna have like feedback.

And last but not least, advanced options. So we know that AI sometimes is going to be a bit tricky because if you don't limit the boundaries, at least if you are not, how to say, you don't know how to create right prompts or even skills, sometimes could be not totally focused. So in this case, you can choose information that you put, and you say to AI, I want that you train myself on this topic, just on this one.

Also, of course, you can choose the templates, you can review the voice, and you start working on this.

Conclusion

Of course, there are other functionalities, but today we focus just on, of course, the record pitch, and if you are curious about it, of course, it's like a pleasure to have you on board and to test and get feedback about the platform.

Thanks so much, and thanks for your attention.
