In this session, attendees will learn battle-tested techniques for transforming Claude Code into a fully orchestrated development platform. Moving beyond basic CLAUDE.md files, we explore the advanced configuration surface that most developers never touch. Topics covered: Progressive disclosure through Skills: replacing monolithic context files with on-demand skills that load conventions, domain knowledge, and procedural workflows only when needed. Environment orchestration via tmux: giving Claude full ownership of terminal panes, dev servers, build scripts, and server restarts — so it never asks the human to do anything manually. Hooks for self-awareness: tmux window state indicators, auto-formatting pipelines, and topic tracking that make Claude context-aware within your terminal environment. Quality gates with cop agents: read-only sub-agents that audit code against convention rules, separating authoring guidance from verification. The small delights: custom spinner verbs, status line scripts, swappable output style personas, and keybinding customization.
