Ego to Eureka III: 6 Brutal Truths Why Your Team Hates AI (And What To Do About It)
'Ego to Eureka' is a Sittin' Pretty philosophy in plain-sight evolution. It is both a theoretical talk and a chance to try or think something that alters your course from becoming the product, or being your own master. Acts I & II debuted in Lisbon & Porto in early June as keynotes to international business students & then managers and decision-makers in tech. Act I's subtitle was 'Intelligence is letting go' - a journey from identifying how the ego controls and inhibits us, and how focusing on progressing the question rather than finding an answer, is the key to producing moments from LLMs that take the breath away (people actually gasped during the live demos seeing what Claude was capable of) and release you to use it better forever. Act II was 'Intelligence learns to collaborate' - this one took on a more agentic tone, trying to understand how teams in your business actually work, and how to set up their systems well enough so they move into the flow of collaborating with machines, as i believe we are going to move from data pushers to data orchestrators. And agents only work well (or at all) on systems that provide a robust foundation.

Harnessing the power of MCP by Rob Elkin
Most people just use AI to answer a simple question or understand a topic. But what if you could connect it to all the other systems you use in your life, chaining together a powerful set of tools and integrations to maximise your personal productivity. You'll see how I use MCP to connect to gmail, calendar and many other applications to process workflows and data using AI.
