Introducing Able: ethical gigwork AI superagent by Alexandra Wright
I'm presenting Able, an AI-native gig work platform that's transforming how the world's 3 billion frontline shift workers get hired in an AI-augmented future. Starting with London's hospitality sector where we're solving the absurd problem that you can get an Uber in 3 minutes but hiring a bartender takes 3 days, I'll demonstrate how our ethical AI matching system uses bias-free, skills-first "Gigfolios" with video bios and community recommendations instead of discriminatory star ratings. Built according to OECD and UNESCO AI principles with values-based human oversight, Able launches its MVP at the end of August, with 500 beta users, same-day pay, and secure payments. My demo will showcase the AI matching process, ethical safeguards, and payment flows that compress hiring from days to minutes, as we scale this infrastructure across industries to serve the global gig economy projected to reach £1.34T by 2032. I'll conclude by inviting attendees to join us as users, partners, or investors in building the fastest, fairest platform for the future of freelance work.
