Hello, everybody. How you doing?
My name is Matt Murphy. I'm from Base44.
I work on the enterprise team at Base. So I help folks who are looking to bring a vibe coding, no coding solution onto their enterprise. So into their organization.
I'll hit on a couple of common use cases that we do. before we do that I told you a little bit about me I want to kind of level set how many if you guys wouldn't mind raising your hands how many people here are technical people okay a good good chunk there how many people have ever used a vibe coding tool okay awesome any base 44 users
out there all right you see some hands those hands are going to be more by the end of this talk because I don't like slides so we're going to be doing some building or at least try to
because I built something I should say I'm not a technical person the closest thing I have to a technical background is my brother who is a software engineer that's the closest thing I have he he's funny he's a distinguished software engineer which is a hilarious title to me because because he's anything but distinguished.
But he's good at coding. So, yeah, let's hop in.
Obligatory imagine a world where slide. I'm going to again, again, I'm just going to hit on some common use cases. This might be something familiar to folks.
You know, I tend to have my best ideas when I'm falling asleep. You can spin things up pretty quickly, and you don't have to wait to do it tomorrow or anything like that.
You can just type in, you know, build me an app that does X, Y, or Z, and it'll start building it out.
If you don't believe me, hold on. We'll do it.
So, you know, this is like dashboards. If you wanted to come prepared to a meeting and have a dashboard that connects to, you know, maybe it's your Salesforce or your Databricks or something, you can build these things that make you look like you are really organized and you built this really cool custom app.
So I think like for technical folks out there, this stuff isn't going to be mind -blowing.
1I think the real advantage to this is sort of the democratization of that technical piece, right? So not everybody has the skills to be able to build something and something up. And the people who do have the skills to spin things up like this are typically busy doing other things.
So, it could help take some things off of the plate of the devs and the technical team if folks can sort of do it themselves to some degree.
Like, this is another example. This is, you know, a marketing tool that, you know, can transform an idea into a post pretty quickly. Instantly, you can automate it so it does it quickly.
Okay.
These are kind of the buckets of where folks are using Base44 in an enterprise. So, you know, interactive dashboards, like I mentioned, internal tools, I wouldn't recommend just doing like, build me Salesforce and then just like, that's your Salesforce now.
Yet, stay tuned, but I think like, you know, a lot of people have an expense tool that they only use 10 % of or something, and they're paying 60 grand a year for it. And really you could spend something up that wouldn't require that much time and effort and it would work so that's that's something that a lot of folks are coming
to us and talking about prototyping this is another one the owner of a lot of the big dating apps out there they're a client of ours and what they did is basically instead of having product managers you know sending Figma slides and sending you know design concepts and feature ideas to the development team
they just all got a clone of the app and they could build their own features and within the app so um lots of features in there today actually came from this exercise so it was
really cool and then customer facing apps as well um you're going to see an example of a customer
facing app right here so this is something i built last night shout out to leor for giving me the idea if you guys want this is the audience participation part indulge me if you want to to just scan that qr code and give me a quick prompt um tamir gave me a couple here he gave me tricky ones you can give me a tricky one you can give me a an easy one it could be duck racing
or um you know anything you want but we'll get those building once i get some in you know what I'll do one too the or an inside job I know him AI earpiece like Jarvis Sanjay making it easy for me so you can see we're gonna start spinning these up as
long as my so this one's gonna ask for a little clarification you get no clarification organized tennis team rosters and availability in my town
I live in Boston I flew this morning there's a really brutal battle going on around pickleball scheduling it's it's it's really like come on this is your problem yeah yeah I know so I'm familiar with the with that yeah here I'll bring
the QR code back if anyone else wants to submit this is a cool idea convert an email message to a LinkedIn post Jarvis is in flight let's see you can ask it to sort of discuss a little bit too so if you want to filter it down and give more ideas that's an option as well you know like if you guys have played around with
this it's very unlikely that all of these are going to work in one shot with one prompt in like eight words but the idea is you know you can get to a starting place get to a prototype and then decide like is this idea worth worth spending more time on, and is this worth connecting?
These applications create a tenant scheduling app. There's also applications where you can integrate a number of different things, and it is fairly flexible.
So we have tons of built -in connectors that you can connect with a prompt.
Ooh, I just heard one. Let's see. This one's going to finish cooking soon.
Okay, so you can copy and paste your email here, and that'll put in a LinkedIn post. Let's see. Give me a sample email.
Let's check on our others. Ah, we got Jarvis. Hello, Jarvis. Cool. Well, that's pretty neat.
Here we got Tetris. So, yeah, if you guys have ideas for games, there's a lot of games on the App Store where if you look at it for like 10 seconds, you're like, that was vibe -coded, and I could build a better one right now. So, yeah, and you get unlimited gold if you want in those games. You get to decide because you built it.
Okay, cool.
So, wanted to just do a quick presentation. Didn't want to do like an infomercial here. So thank you guys all for joining us.
