AI for Personal Use That’s Actually Production Ready
This talk looks at how AI can become a practical part of your everyday development workflow. Instead of treating AI as a tool for quick prompts or small experiments, I’ll show how it can support real projects from start to finish. Using my own setup with VS Code, GitHub Copilot, GitHub Actions, and GitHub Pages, I’ll walk through how AI helps with coding, reviewing, automating tasks, and deploying working applications. The goal is to show that anyone can build a personal AI powered workflow that feels reliable, efficient, and ready to ship. If time allows, I’ll also touch on how agentic tools can fit into this stack and extend it even further.

I'll show a couple of my automated workflows and agentic helpers that help me ease some annoyances.
View recordingBeyond the Hype: How to Use AI Without Losing Your Mind by Nicole Vomm
We all talk about what AI can do - but not what it slowly takes away. This talk examines the psychological and ethical costs of automation and how we can design a healthier relationship with the tools shaping our minds, work, and future.
